Kozlukebir Municipality signs agreement with veterinarian Ali Mehmet for stray animal care
Kozlukebir Municipality has signed a new agreement with veterinarian Ali Mehmet from Omurlu Village, who operates a veterinary clinic in Komotini, to provide care services for stray animals.
The signing ceremony took place in the office of Mayor Erdem Hüseyin. Under the new agreement, Dr. Mehmet will carry out essential veterinary services such as neutering, microchipping, and vaccinating stray animals within the municipal area.
In an official statement, the municipality said, “A new contract has been signed between our municipality and one of the region’s most respected veterinarians, Ali Mehmet. He will work to ensure the well-being of stray animals in our villages. We hope this cooperation will benefit our region, and we wish Dr. Mehmet success in his new role.”
This initiative highlights Kozlukebir Municipality’s commitment to animal welfare and its proactive stance on addressing the needs of stray animals in the area.
