In a statement, the municipality emphasized that the donation not only provides vital equipment but also significantly contributes to public safety and disaster preparedness.

“As one of the multicultural and mountainous regions of Thrace, remote settlements face daily challenges in fire protection and access to emergency services. This donation will strengthen our Civil Protection unit and play a crucial role in our fight against fires and natural disasters,” the statement said.

The municipality also expressed special appreciation for K.E.D.E. President Lazaros Kyrizoglou’s sensitivity and support toward municipalities in border areas. “President Kyrizoglou demonstrates his exemplary approach to providing fair and responsible support to local governments every day,” the statement added.

Kozlukebir Mayor Erdem Hüseyin also thanked K.E.D.E. and its president following the donation, stating:
“This vehicle is not just a piece of equipment—it is a symbol of solidarity and support. I would like to especially thank President Kyrizoglou for his continuous attention to small and border municipalities. I hope K.E.D.E. continues to support local communities with the same determination and humanitarian spirit.”
