ITB President Ozan Ahmetoğlu made the following statements in his on his social media account:
“During her visit to Komotini, Mrs. Dora Bakoyanni, a staff member and former minister of the New Democracy Party, who did not provide a solution to the problems of the Western Thrace Turkish minority, during her four-year rule, scolding and implicitly threatening minority people who did not vote for her own party is in no way acceptable. This is a gross disregard for democracy, but also for the will of the people.”
