Western Thrace Turkish Union youth branch elects new president

The Youth Branch of the İskeçe Turkish Union (İTB) has elected Aksu Veli as its new president following elections held on Friday, September 11, at the union's headquarters in İskeçe (Xanthi).
The election also saw the distribution of responsibilities among the members of the new executive board.
New youth branch leadership announced
Following the elections, the new İTB Youth Branch administration was formed as follows:
President: Aksu Veli
Vice President: Asu Salioğlu
Secretary: Özge Hacıali
Treasurer: Hüseyin Kamo
Media Officers: Selin Alibaşoğlu and Melike Osmanoğlu
Trips and Activities Officer: Ahmet Tevfikoğlu
Public Relations Officer: Yasir Kavas
The new administration will oversee the activities of the İTB Youth Branch following the leadership change.
The İskeçe Turkish Union is one of the long-established institutions representing the Turkish minority community in Western Thrace.
