İskeçe once again shouts "NO TO GENOCIDE"
The march began at noon, with a large crowd gathering at İskeçe's city square around 12:30 PM. The event saw strong support from members of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority. The march proceeded through Gümülcine Street, Miauli, Tsimiski, Istanbul Street, Freedom Square, and Kavala Street, eventually concluding back at the city square.
Toward the end of the march, as participants entered the city square, two individuals, believed to be of foreign origin, attempted to disrupt the event by shouting pro-Israel slogans, but the provocation was unsuccessful.
The demonstration, in which participants expressed their opposition to Israeli genocide, ended peacefully.
Among the attendees showing support for Palestine and Lebanon were İskeçe Mufti Mustafa Trampa, MP Burhan Baran, İskeçe Turkish Union President Ozan Ahmetoğlu, Çınar Association President Cengiz Ömer, DEB Party Vice President Bahri Belço, former Mustafçova Mayor and Halk Hareketi President Cemil Kabza, and many others from the local community.
