Students from many nationalities, especially from Greece, Kosovo, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Azerbaijan, and Turkmenistan, came to the Turkish Red Crescent Edirne Blood Donation Center for the donation campaign, which was launched with the slogan "Together We are Strong" led by the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management.

Batuhan Hasan from Western Thrace told reporters that Turkey is passing through hard times.

Stating that they experienced the sadness of the earthquakes, "We are trying to stand by the state with material and moral aid and these donations. As international students, we have always felt the presence of the state abroad and in the country. We have never felt like strangers. We are the sons of the motherland. Even though we were born and raised abroad. We wanted to make such a contribution,” he said.

North Macedonian Students' Union President Hisham Emin also stated that after the earthquake in North Macedonia, mourning was declared and a decision was made to mobilize aid. Emin said, "The collected aid has been delivered to the earthquake victims. As the North Macedonian Students' Union, we are trying to stand by Türkiye. We are Turkish, our motherland is the Republic of Türkiye. Just as Türkiye has always taken care of us, we wanted to be together with the Republic of Türkiye in this difficult time."

Dilek Kırbıyık, wife of Edirne Governor Kürşat Kırbıyık, also came to the blood center and thanked the students who donated.

Within the scope of the campaign, 30 international students and 20 directorate staff donated.
