Historical “SEÇEK” Festivals begin on July 15
The Seçek Festival, which dates back nearly 700 years, will be held between 15 – 17 July this year.
Seçek Oil Wrestling and Cultural events organized by Seçek Minority Education and Culture Association will be held between 15 – 17 July.
The statement made by the Seçek Minority Education and Culture Association is as follows:
“SEÇEK Oil Wrestling and Cultural Activities, undertaken by our ancestors for seven centuries and by SEÇEK Minority Education and Culture Association for a quarter of a century, will be held in July.
As a result of the decision taken by our newly elected board of directors and our “Yayla Ağa”, Mr. Hüseyin Apti the festivities will be held on the 15th, 16th and 17th of July this year at the Kehros (Mehrikoz) football field. Detailed program will be published in the coming days.”
