The Komotini Municipality plans to implement a "Health Living Park" project in the Radio Station area.
The Komotini Municipality plans to implement a "Health Living Park" project in the Radio Station area. This initiative is included in the 2025 Technical Program, recently approved by the Municipal Council.
Deputy Mayor responsible for projects, Mr. Dimitris Karastavrou, stated that the proposed modern park will offer citizens opportunities for gardening activities and outdoor exercise. He also noted that many municipalities have submitted similar project proposals to the Green Fund, highlighting the growing interest in such initiatives.
Currently in the planning stage, Mr. Karastavrou emphasized that the municipality will continue its efforts in the coming period to finalize the project and prepare it for implementation.
