Good news from Katrancı, ND Party deputy candidate to tobacco producers
New Democracy Party (NDP) Rhodope Deputy Candidate Mustafa Katrancı visited the Trakya (Thrace) Tobacco Producers Cooperative and met with the chairman and the management team.
New Democracy Party (NDP) Rodop Deputy Candidate Mustafa Katrancı met with the cooperative president Sinan Ahmet and the members of the board of directors during his visit on Tuesday, April 19th.
They discussed the current issues of the cooperative and the problems that concern tobacco producers.
Katrancı made a statement on his social media account after the visit. Sharing information that will make tobacco producers happy, Katrancı said:
"Today I visited the Thrace Tobacco Producers Cooperative, one of the distinguished institutions of northern Greece and our minority.
We focused on the future of tobacco and what more can be done with the President and the members of the Board of Directors.
I also conveyed to them the results of my recent contacts with Athens regarding the payment of damages arising from the “hill” sickness. This was that the decision on these losses will be signed next week and payments will be made at the rate of 80% of the previous one within a maximum of 15 days.
I thank them for their hospitality."
