Former Prime Minister Karamanlis visits the JTI factory in Xanthi

JTI Xanthi factory manager Danilo Stojanovic showed the former Prime Minister Kostas Karamanlis and the accompanying delegation around the factory and gave detailed information about JTI's investment, production and exports in the region.
Former Prime Minister and current SEKE Chairman Karamanlis said that Japan Tobacco International (JTI) was impressed by the investment they made in the region, the quality of the facilities and the measures taken for labour health and safety.
"For more than 42 years we have been relying on the quality of Greek tobacco for our international products and we have been and will continue to maintain our close cooperation with SEKE for the benefit of both parties," said plant manager Stojanovic, referring to the close cooperation between JTI and SEKE, and expressed his satisfaction with the visit of the former president.
Former Prime Minister Kostas Karamanlis' visit to JTI was accompanied by former Minister of Agriculture Alekos Kontos, General Manager of SEKE.
