Foreign national arrested at Kipi Border crossing with 20 passports

A foreign national was arrested on the morning of Saturday, November 30, at the Kipi border crossing by Passport Control Department officers. The individual was charged with possession of illegal travel documents and forgery.

During a routine inspection conducted by police and customs officials, the suspect was found in possession of 20 Moroccan passports and counterfeit Syrian passports belonging to various individuals. The suspect’s four mobile phones and all the documents were confiscated as evidence.

The investigation is being handled by the Passport Control Department, and further details are expected as inquiries progress. This incident underscores the ongoing efforts to combat document forgery and illegal entry at border checkpoints.
