EPS THRAKIS carries out new year breat cutting
The Union of Amateur Clubs of Rhodope (EPS TRAKIS) held its traditional New Year's bread cutting on Friday evening, 23 February, at the Cris&Eve hotel in Komotini.
The event was attended by the President of the Hellenic Football Federation (EPO) Takis Baltakis as the guest of honour, Rhodope MPs, representatives of the provincial administration, mayors and deputy mayors, presidents of amateur clubs associations from neighbouring provinces, managers of the teams competing in the A and B categories of the Rhodope Amateur League and the management of the Rhodope Referees Association.
The programme of the event started with the opening speech of EPS President Manos Gavrilidis. Afterwards, EPO President Baltakis, who was the guest of the evening, took the floor and greeted the participants.

In the continuation of the programme, plaques were given to the special guests attending the night, managers who contributed to amateur football, teams that were champions in the categories last season and footballers who were top scorers in the categories.
