Eastern Macedonia and Thrace has been named “Europe’s Leading Emerging Destination 2025” at the World Travel Awards, one of the most prestigious recognitions in the global tourism industry. The award ceremony took place on October 22, 2025, in Sardinia, gathering leading destinations and tourism authorities from around the world.
