The damage assessment results for farmers in the Kalfa region, whose crops suffered due to last summer’s drought, have been announced.

Kalfa Mayor Mehmet Osman issued a written statement informing farmers of the findings. The statement reads:
"The damage assessment results for farmers whose garden crops (watermelon, melon, pickling peppers, beans, chickpeas, peas, etc.) were affected by the drought on July 19, 2024, have been released. Farmers in our region who have reported damages can contact us to learn their results.
Note: Farmers who disagree with the announced results and wish to appeal may submit their objections no later than February 27, 2025."
