In their communication with relevant authorities, the cooperative highlighted the potential losses in tobacco production due to these challenges.

The cooperative's official statement is as follows:

"Dear members,

In 2024, we have faced significant challenges in tobacco production due to weather conditions, particularly drought and issues related to green worm disease. On June 28, 2024, we brought these concerns to the attention of relevant authorities, including ELGA and DAOK, through official correspondence.

On October 3, 2024, we received a written response from DAOK, confirming that losses in tobacco production are anticipated due to the adverse weather conditions, including both drought and the green worm issue.

As the Cooperative's management, we will continue to work diligently and methodically to address these problems. We believe that our efforts will gradually bear fruit. Rest assured, we will continue to act with caution, focusing on concrete solutions without resorting to empty statements or nonproductive social media posts. You, our members, deserve nothing but the best."

The statement emphasizes the cooperative’s commitment to finding solutions and supporting its members through these challenging times.
