Kozlukebir Municipality takes action against drought

The Kozlukebir Municipality has mobilized its teams to ensure water supply for numerous livestock farmers in the Mehrikoz region, which has been affected by the ongoing drought.
In response to the crisis, the municipal administration has begun supplementing a local pond with water by installing an 850-meter-long irrigation pipeline from nearby streams that still contain water.
In an official statement, the municipality emphasized the urgency of the situation:
"Due to the exceptionally dry winter, the water level in the pond used by Mehrikoz farmers for irrigation and livestock watering has significantly decreased. As a precautionary measure, the municipality has installed an approximately 850-meter-long pipeline to channel water from nearby streams into the pond."
Local farmers and livestock owners are expected to benefit from this initiative as the region continues to struggle with drought conditions.
