Dr. Sadık Ahmet to be commemorated today at his grave
The late leader Dr. Sadık Ahmet, who pioneered the struggle of Western Thrace Turks for identity and rights, will be commemorated today (Wednesday, 24 July 2024) at his grave on the 29th anniversary of his death.
The Friendship Equality Peace Party, of which he was the founder, will organize a commemoration ceremony at the grave of the late leader at Komotini Kahveci Cemetery on the occasion of the anniversary of his death. All Western Thrace Turks are invited to the ceremony to be held today at 19.00.
As in previous years, the commemoration ceremony is expected to be attended by Western Thracian compatriots as well as important guests from the motherland Türkiye and other neighboring countries. Those who will attend the ceremony will be served a meal by the party.
