Gümülcine muftiate holds training seminar for Quran course instructors
The Elected Muftiate of Gümülcine (Komotini) held a training seminar for instructors working at Quran courses affiliated with the muftiate ahead of the 2026–27 academic year.
The seminar was held on Wednesday, September 23, as part of preparations for the new educational year.
Elected Mufti of Gümülcine İbrahim Şerif delivered the opening remarks, addressing instructors working at Quran courses under the muftiate.
Fehim Ahmet, the muftiate’s deputy mufti and Quran Courses Coordinator, provided information about planned changes and new practices for the upcoming academic year.
Ahmet also briefed instructors on issues requiring particular attention as they prepare to begin the new academic year.
The seminar brought together instructors affiliated with the Elected Muftiate as part of preparations for the continuation of Quran course activities in the Gümülcine area.
