Consul General Ünal visits newly appointed Police Chiefs

During the visit, Consul General Ünal met with Chiaras and Ziogas for discussions and extended his best wishes for success in their new roles.
On Thursday, February 13, Türkiye’s Consul General in Gümülcine, Aykut Ünal, paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Regional Police Director of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Lambros Chiaras, and the Police Director of Rhodope, Georgios Ziogas.
During the visit, Consul General Ünal met with Chiaras and Ziogas for discussions and extended his best wishes for success in their new roles.
Following the meetings, the Turkish Consulate General in Gümülcine shared a bilingual statement in Turkish and Greek on its social media accounts, stating, “We visited Regional Police Director Lambros Chiaras and Rhodope Police Director Georgios Ziogas at their offices and wished them success in their new positions.”
