“Bring your child to Fajr Prayer” program held at Baraklı Mosque
The “Bring Your Child to Fajr Prayer” program, organized by the Mufti Office of Gümülcine, was held this week with great enthusiasm at Baraklı Mosque.
The event took place on Sunday, 16 December 2025, with participation from Mufti İbrahim Şerif, Deputy Mufti Fehim Ahmet, B.T.C.D.G.D. President Erol Yoluç, local residents, religious officials from nearby villages, children, and parents.
The congregation gathered early in the morning to perform Fajr prayer together. After the prayer, religious officials affiliated with the Gümülcine Mufti Office recited tasbihat and supplications. Mufti İbrahim Şerif then delivered a brief speech highlighting the importance of unity and developing a consciousness of worship.
The program concluded with a shared breakfast, adding to the warm and communal atmosphere.
Previously organized in past years as well, the program aims to bring children together with the mosque community and help instill the habit and awareness of attending Fajr prayer from a young age.
The high level of participation and the sincere environment were noted as contributing to strengthening social bonds among families and children.
