Award to Murat Sebahattinoğlu
Murat Sebahattinoğlu was given an “environmental awareness” award at the ceremony held at the Xanthi Municipality Building.
Murat Sebahattinoğlu, who resides in Xanthi Arenmahalle and works voluntarily for environmental cleaning, was awarded the "Gold Medal of the City" by Xanthi Municipality for his support to create environmental sensitivity,.
Sebahattinoğlu received the award form the Mayor of Xanthi, Manolis Çepelis, at the ceremony held on Tuesday, October 4th.
At the same ceremony, Hariklea Margaritopulu received an award for her contributions to art and science.
Xanthi SIRIZA Deputy Hüseyin Zeybek and Xanthi deputy mayors Levent Karaosman and Suha Bekiroğlu also attended the ceremony held at the municipality building.
Murat Sebahattinoğlu received the award together with Asime Eminoğlu, who is his biggest supporter and assistant in environmental cleaning.
