Athens replies to Ankara on 'Horozlu Cemetery'
The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs responded to the Turkish Foreign Ministry's response to the "Horozlu cemetery".

The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs responded to the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which condemned the destruction of the Ottoman-era cemetery belonging to the Muslim Turkish Minority in the village of Horozlu in Xanthi, on the pretext of building a football field on it.

Greek Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexandros Papaioannou answered a journalist's question on the subject as follows:

“There is no problem. It is surprising that it is shown as having a problem when there is no problem. The relevant authorities of our country have been and are interested in the issue urgently. The Turkish side also knows the rapid steps we have taken in this regard. With the statements, as well as our actions on the ground, we have proven that we respect the protection of all cultural and religious heritage and monuments on our land.”
