Ashura event in Yassıköy
Yassıköy Minority Culture Association's Women's Branch organized an "Aşure Event" under the guidance of the Gümülcine Elected Mufti Office Female Irshad Team.
Yassıköy Minority Culture Association Women's Branch, under the guidance of the Gumulcine (Komotini) Elected Mufti Office Female Irshad Team, organized an "Ashure Event" at Yassıköy (Iasmos) Astrea Wedding Hall on Sunday, 30 July 2023.
Ashura prepared by Yassıköy Ladies were served to the audience.
Fatma Feyza Güner, Counselor of the Presidency of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, to make a speech in the program attended by approximately 1000 people, and Mufti of Kayseri Mufti Qur'an Course Instructor Muzemmile Dede attended the Quran recitation.
In addition, the Kardzhali Mufti's Female Irshad Team from the neighboring country Bulgaria added color by participating in the program.
The program, which was presented by Zeynep Padalı Mehmet, the Qur'an Course Instructor of the Mufti Office of Komotini, started with the opening speech of Eser Kadir, Head of the Yassıköy Minority Culture Association Women's Branch.
Hatice Yakup, Head of the Elected Mufti Office of Komotini Women Irshad Team, and Müzeyyen Mustafa, Head of the Women's Irshad Team of the Mufti of Kardzhali made a greeting speech.
The program started with the most beautiful of words, the Holy Quran. Afterwards, Fatma Feyza Güner, Counselor of the Presidency of Religious Affairs of Türkiye, gave a speech titled “Muharram and Ashura Day” based on the meaning and importance of the day.
Beautiful hymns sung, each more beautiful than the other, gave the audience in the hall emotional moments.
After the prayer, the program ended with the presentation of gifts.
