Western Thrace Advisory Board Chair congratulates newly elected Bulgarian Chief Mufti and High Islamic Council President
The Chair of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board and Mufti of İskeçe, Mustafa Trampa, has extended congratulations to Dr. Ahmet Hasanov on his election as Chief Mufti of the Muslims in Bulgaria, as well as to Mustafa Hacı, who continues to serve as President of the High Islamic Council.
According to the statement, Trampa contacted both officials by phone following their recent appointments, expressing his best wishes and support.
During the conversations, Trampa congratulated Dr. Ahmet Hasanov on his election as Chief Mufti of Bulgaria’s Muslim community and wished him success in his new responsibilities. He emphasized hopes that Hasanov’s tenure would contribute positively to the Muslim community in Bulgaria.
Trampa also congratulated Mustafa Hacı on his continued role as President of the High Islamic Council, expressing wishes that his work would yield beneficial outcomes for Muslims in Bulgaria.
The exchanges underline ongoing ties and communication between Muslim leadership institutions in the Balkans, particularly between Western Thrace and Bulgaria.
