Ashura Day Event organized in Komotini Turkish Youth Union
Ashura cooked for the event held on the occasion of the month of Muharram was distributed to the kinsmen chatting with each other in the garden of the union and to the shopkeepers around.
GTGB made a statement about the Ashura Day Event and stated the following;
"The Ashura Day Event, which is the symbol of unity, solidarity, brotherhood, sharing, solidarity and abundance, was organized by our Association on Friday, 04 August 2023, with the participation of the Chairman of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board and the Elected Mufti of Komotini, Mr. İbrahim Şerif.
Our event took place with the organization of our association's board of directors and our new generation arm. Prepared Ashures were offered to our people in the garden of the association and to the shopkeepers in the vicinity.
