Turkish Consul General Aykut Ünal hosts iftar dinner for muftis of Komotini and Xanthi
Türkiye's Consul General in Komotini, Aykut Ünal, and his wife, İlayda Ünal, hosted an iftar dinner on the evening of Monday, March 3, at the consulate residence, welcoming the Muftis of Komotini and Xanthi along with their spouses.
The event was attended by the President of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board (BTTADK) and Mufti of Xanthi, Mustafa Trampa, along with his wife, Nadire Ömer, as well as the Mufti of Komotini, İbrahim Şerif, and his wife, Celile Şerif.
The Turkish Consulate in Komotini shared a post on its social media accounts, stating, "We had the honor of hosting the President of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board/Xanthi Mufti Mustafa Trampa and Komotini Mufti İbrahim Şerif, along with their esteemed spouses, for iftar this evening."
Mufti Mustafa Trampa also expressed his gratitude in a social media post, saying, "This evening, together with Komotini Mufti İbrahim Şerif, we attended the exceptional iftar invitation hosted by our esteemed Turkish Consul General in Komotini, Mr. Aykut Ünal, and his dear wife, Mrs. İlayda Ünal. We are truly grateful for their hospitality."
