GTGB hosts “Ashura Day” event in Komotini

The Turkish Youth Union of Komotini (GTGB) organized an Ashura Day event today (Monday, July 7), celebrating values of unity, solidarity, sharing, and abundance. The event was jointly organized by the GTGB Executive Board and its New Generation Branch.
As part of the program, bowls of traditional ashura were distributed to members of the public and local shopkeepers in the association’s courtyard. The event, which saw strong participation, helped preserve cultural traditions while also strengthening the sense of community.
