9-year-old attacked by stray dog in Komotini

On the evening of Friday, September 6, a tragic incident occurred in Komotini where a 9-year-old child was attacked by a stray dog.
While playing outside with a 12-year-old friend, the child was bitten on the head and neck, according to eyewitnesses. The injured child was immediately taken to Komotini Hospital after their family was notified.
After receiving initial medical treatment at the hospital, it was confirmed that the child's overall condition is stable and they will continue their recovery at home.
Local authorities, including the Komotini Municipality and Police Department, were informed about the incident.
