YTB's "Kinsman Literature Support Programme" applications continue
Applications for the Support Programme for Compatriot Literature (SEDEP) of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) for 2024 continue.
According to the written statement made by YTB, the programme aims to sustain the literary and cultural development of the cognate communities and to introduce their accumulated knowledge to the world.
Within the scope of SEDEP, the increase and development of mutual cultural interaction in the geographies where cognate communities with historical and cultural ties live is prioritised.
The support programme is open to applications from cognate writers, poets, literary figures, folk artists, academicians, universities and other non-profit legal entities with a publishing certificate.
Within the scope of the programme, various supports are offered under the titles of writing, printing, promotion, translation and digital publication, and the condition of printing and publishing the work is sought for the supports to be provided.
In all applications, priority is given to works that highlight the awareness of common culture and civilisation, and emphasise the historical, cultural and current issues of the cognate communities; Turkish citizens will not be able to benefit from SEDEP.
