Yerlikaya, Chrisochoidis meet in Istanbul
Türkiye’s Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya met with Michalis Chrisochoidis, Greece’s Minister for Citizen Protection, in Istanbul.
Minister Yerlikaya shared details of the meeting on his official social media account, noting that the talks took place at the Presidential Dolmabahçe Working Office in Istanbul.
In his statement, Yerlikaya said:
“During our meeting with the Minister, we discussed opportunities for cooperation in the field of security, including the fight against organized crime groups, terrorist organizations, migrant smuggling, and cross-border crime, as well as operational information sharing and the extradition of criminals. I would like to thank the Minister for his visit and for his valuable contributions to this productive meeting.”
