Undecided voters growing, poll shows
A new ALCO poll presented on Alpha TV shows a sharp increase in undecided voters and deepening public dissatisfaction with Greece’s political and institutional landscape.
Undecided voters reached 21.5%, nearly double the 11.9% recorded in January.
The survey found that 83% of respondents believe the country is facing an institutional crisis, while 77% said they are little or not at all satisfied with the justice system, 81% with Parliament, 78% with the government, and 87% with political parties.
When asked who bears responsibility for the crisis, 34% blamed the government, 31% all parties, 18% public officials representing institutions, and 12% the media and social networks.
In voting intentions, the ruling conservative New Democracy party fell to 23.3% from 24% last month, while socialist PASOK rose slightly to 11.7% from 11.5%. Leftist SYRIZA dropped to 5% from 6.2%, and leftist, anti-establishment Course of Freedom also declined, from 7.1% to 6.4%.
Women make up 59% of the undecided voters, and men 41%. Nearly half are aged between 45 and 64.
