Two people drowned in one day in Kavala

The Port Authority of Kavala announced that a 79-year-old Greek citizen drowned in the morning hours of Wednesday 11 July at Kariani beach in Kavala.
The Port Authority announced that the unfortunate 79-year-old person was transferred by ambulance to the Kavala State Hospital and it was determined that he died due to drowning. On the same day, at noon, a 66-year-old Bulgarian citizen drowned on the beach of Keramoti in Kavala.
The 66-year-old Bulgarian national, who was spending his summer holiday in Keramoti, was transferred by ambulance to Nestos Health Centre. The doctors of the health centre announced that the 66-year-old Bulgarian national had drowned and died.
Keramoti and Kavala port directorates stated that the autopsy report on the two drowning cases will be prepared and an investigation will be carried out.
