Türkiye, Greece discuss link in tourism

Turkey and Greece held talks on establishing a connection between the two countries in tourism.
Turkish Ambassador to Athens Çağatay Erciyes met with Greek Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni at the High Cooperation Council meeting in Thessaloniki and discussed ways to increase the tourism connection and tourist flow between the two countries.
During the meeting, the importance of developing tourism relations between Turkey and Greece was emphasised and ways of updating the agreement signed between the two countries in 2001, which aims to facilitate public-private partnerships in tourism, were discussed.
Çağatay Erciyes called for the restart of the pilot programme to simplify visa processes for Turks in the Greek Islands, which host a large number of Turkish guests every year.
