Three women whose bodies were found at Prangios near the Evros River were stabbed to death, the coroner said in preliminary findings on Wednesday.

The coroner said their death, from stab wounds in the neck, occurred within the last two days. They carried no identification papers but he said they appear to be migrants or refugees.
Two of them, he said, were between 15 and 18 years old.
Their bodies were transported to Alexandroupoli for an autopsy, while the police have begun investigations in the triple killing.
