TGA promotes Türkiye’s tourism destinations in Greece
The Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) held a promotional event in Thessaloniki, showcasing Türkiye's leading tourism destinations to representatives of the Greek travel industry.
As part of the event, top destinations such as Istanbul, Cappadocia, the Aegean, and the Black Sea regions were introduced. The event also facilitated B2B (business-to-business) meetings between Turkish and Greek tourism professionals.
The event provided a platform for establishing new business connections and strengthening mutual cooperation between the two countries' tourism sectors.
During the opening remarks, Müberra Eresin, President of the Turkish Hotel Association (TÜROB); Lisandros Tsilidis, President of the Hellenic Federation of Travel and Tourist Agencies (FEDHATTA); and Serkan Gedik, Turkey’s Consul General in Thessaloniki, all emphasized the importance of enhancing tourism relations between Turkey and Greece. They underlined that mutual visits and joint projects would bring significant benefits to both Turkish and Greek tourism.
The event was attended by 19 hotel management companies from Turkey, all members of TÜROB, along with 4 Turkish tour operators. From the Thessaloniki region, 50 Greek travel agencies participated in the event.
