The union representing teachers at public schools, OLME, threw its weight behind a protest being planned by students for the end of the week in reaction to the government’s handling of the deadly February 28, 2023 rail crash at Tempe, central Greece.
The union representing teachers at public schools, OLME, threw its weight behind a protest being planned by students for the end of the week in reaction to the government’s handling of the deadly February 28, 2023 rail crash at Tempe, central Greece.
In an announcement on Wednesday, OLME called on its members to join the main rally that will be held at 12 noon on Friday in front of Parliament in Athens’ Syntagma Square.
“Two years after the Tempe tragedy, we demand that justice is served! All those responsible must be held accountable. The truth must come to light – the investigation must go all the way,” OLME said.
