Juvenile delinquency At the same time, in order to prevent and tackle juvenile delinquency and violence among minors, in order to enhance their sense of security and that of their parents, soft policing actions are carried out by trained female and male police officers in neighbourhoods, squares and places where young people gather and incidents have occurred.

Furthermore, the traffic services carried out special patrols and targeted checks, especially in major urban centres, to tackle delinquent and dangerous-anti-social driving behaviours, with the aim of ensuring smooth and safe movement of citizens and safeguarding human life.

-133,202- vehicle traffic controls were carried out and -33,440- offences were recorded, for which the corresponding administrative fines were imposed.
