ND holds 16.6-point lead; One in five voters still undecided
If elections were held today, eight parties would enter Parliament. ND leads with 30.2%, followed by PASOK (13.7%), Greek Solution (10.7%), Course of Freedom (9%), the Communist Party KKE (8.1%), and the far-right Voice of Reason (4.5%). SYRIZA drops to seventh place with 4.2%, and MERA25 follows at 3.4%.
On the question of preferred prime minister, “Nobody” came first with 30.8%, slightly ahead of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis at 29.1%. All other party leaders registered single-digit figures.
The poll also showed strong rejection of potential new parties led by former prime ministers Alexis Tsipras and Antonis Samaras. A total of 65.7% said they would “never” vote for a party under Tsipras, while 75.6% said the same for Samaras.
Energy developments drew significant public interest. Nearly 49% believe last week’s Athens energy-summit agreements strengthen Greece’s position as a regional hub. Meanwhile, 56.7% consider the 20-year LNG deal involving DEPA, Aktor, and Venture Global important.
Support was also strong for domestic exploration: 67.9% view hydrocarbon drilling in the Ionian Sea as significant, and 73.1% believe recent initiatives will further boost Greek-US relations.
