The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a series of travel advisories for Greek citizens in light of escalating tensions and airspace closures in the Middle East, with particular emphasis on Jordan, Israel, Iran, and the Palestinian territories.

Amid the recent closure of Jordanian airspace, the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) is advising all Greek citizens currently in Jordan to remain in contact with their airline, monitor official updates, and strictly follow the instructions of local authorities.

Greek nationals in Jordan may reach the Embassy of Greece in Amman for assistance via phone at +962 795693000 or email at gremb.amn@mfa.gr.

The MFA also reaffirmed its advisory from October 15, 2023, against non-essential travel to Lebanon, which remains in effect due to regional instability.
