Tuesday is extremely dangerous, for forest fires weather model Hot+Dry+Windy, is prevailing in the northern, southern and eastern parts of Greece.
Adverse pyrometeorogical conditions will prevail in Greece on Tuesday, according to the latest forecast data analysed by the pyrometeorological team FLAME of the Athens National Observatory/ meteo.gr.
The increase of the winds (over 5 on the Beaufort scale) in combination with the very warm and dry conditions, substantially increase the flammability of the dead forest fuel.
These dangerous conditions that are prevailing from Sunday 7 August will continue on Tuesday as the extremely dangerous, for forest fires weather model Hot+Dry+Windy, is prevailing in the northern, southern and eastern parts of Greece.
