Authorities have arrested an 80-year-old man on suspicion of intentional arson in a fire that broke out in the Dipotamos area of the regional unit of Kavala, in northern Greece.
Authorities have arrested an 80-year-old man on suspicion of intentional arson in a fire that broke out in the Dipotamos area of the regional unit of Kavala, in northern Greece.
According to the investigation, the man allegedly intentionally set fire to dry grass at approximately 19.25 p.m. on August 16.
The Fire Department said the suspect confessed to his act and is expected to be brought before a prosecutor on Monday.
