Joint statement issued by Türkiye, Greece

A "Political Dialogue" meeting, attended by Türkiye's Deputy Foreign Minister and EU Affairs President, Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay, and Greece's Deputy Foreign Minister, Alexandra Papadopoulou, was reported to have taken place in a positive atmosphere.
Following the meeting in Athens, the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs shared a joint statement outlining the discussions.
The statement highlighted that both parties addressed various aspects of bilateral relations and reviewed recent developments and expectations in preparation for the 6th High-Level Cooperation Council, scheduled to be held in Turkey next year.
Regional issues and Türkiye-EU relations were also discussed during the meeting. According to the statement, "The meeting occurred in a positive atmosphere, and both sides reiterated their mutual commitment to further enhancing bilateral and international cooperation."
