Mainland areas will experience temperatures ranging from 36 to 37 degrees Celsius, with some western regions reaching up to 38 degrees. The Ionian islands, eastern Aegean islands, the Dodecanese and southern Crete will see temperatures of 34 to 35 degrees, while the rest of the island regions will have temperatures between 31 and 33 degrees Celsius.
In the Aegean, winds will locally reach up to 7 Beaufort.
On Monday, temperatures are expected to rise slightly, reaching up to 40 degrees in the western mainland.
