An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.0 struck the Tesprotia region of Greece this morning.
According to the Geodynamic Institute, the earthquake's epicenter was located 4 km northwest of Tsamanda village, at a depth of 10.5 km.
The tremor was also felt on the island of Corfu. However, Efthimios Lekkas, head of the Greek Earthquake Planning and Protection Organization (OASP), assured the public that there is no cause for concern. "The earthquake was felt due to east-west oriented fault lines, but we don't anticipate any serious issues," he stated.
