Starting from September 23, 2024, driver candidates and instructors in the Attica region of Greece will no longer use handwritten exam lists.
Digital revolution for driver candidates: What's changed in driving exams?

Participation in driving exams will now be fully conducted through a digital platform, aiming to enhance transparency and ensure fairness throughout the examination process. The new system prevents last-minute additions or removals from exam lists.

How Does the New System Work?

Driver candidates and instructors will schedule exam dates exclusively via the digital platform drivingexams.attica.gov.gr. Driving schools will use Taxisnet codes to organize their students' exam dates, and candidates can also verify their exam dates using their personal Taxisnet codes. This not only simplifies the scheduling process but also reduces unnecessary travel and congestion at Attica's transportation offices.

A Step Forward for Transparency and Fairness

The primary goal of this new digital platform is to prevent corruption and unfair practices by ensuring a fair and transparent exam scheduling process. With the digital system, all candidates will have equal opportunities, and the process will be completely traceable.

Digitalization in Bureaucracy

This platform is part of a broader effort to reduce bureaucracy and modernize public services. It eliminates the unfair practices that allowed last-minute changes to exam lists, providing better control over who will take the exam well in advance. This ensures a fairer process where exam centers will know who is scheduled to take the exam ahead of time, reducing the potential for unfair advantages during the test.
