Dardanel opens new sushi factory in Greece
According to the company’s statement, the new factory, established through its subsidiary Dardanel Greece, marks the third production facility owned by the company in Greece. Spread across 2,200 square meters, the factory is equipped with modern production technologies and boasts an annual capacity of 15 million sushi units.
This investment aligns with Dardanel’s international growth strategy, aiming to generate €50 million in revenue through sales in Greece and neighboring European countries.
Niyazi Önen, the Founder and Chairman of Dardanel, emphasized the significance of the investment, stating:
“We are thrilled to expand our operations in Greece with the Sushida Kallimanis brand, offering packaged sushi products to consumers in Greece and nearby countries. Sushi is a rapidly growing category globally, with significant potential. This investment will enable us to capture a larger share of the international sushi market.”
The company views this development as a critical step in strengthening its presence in the global packaged sushi segment.
