A cold shower for Bakoyanni: PASOK candidate new mayor of Athens Municipality

Kostas Bakoyannis, the son of the anti-Turkish Minority Dora Bakoyannis, who came to the fore by threatening the Turkish Minority in the general elections held this year, lost the elections in the second round of the local elections.
The candidate supported by the PASOK Party won the Athens Metropolitan Municipality. Haris Dukas is the new mayor of the Municipality of Athens.
Kostas Bakoyannis, son of the anti-Turkish Minority Dora Bakoyannis, who served as Mayor of Athens for four years, lost the elections in the second round. In a press statement, Bakoyannis said that he called Haris Dukas and congratulated him.
The turnout in the Municipality of Athens was record low. It was stated that the participation rate was around 25 per cent.
