In the last 45 days, 106 people drowned in the seas across the country.

It was stated that 34 of the 106 deaths were under the age of 70, while 72 were 71 years and older.
While 106 drowning cases were recorded in the country between 1 June-15 July this year, the number of deaths recorded between 1 June-15 August last year was 196.
It was determined that 72 of the 106 people who died as a result of drowning were men and 34 were women. In the last 45 days, 62 Greeks and 44 tourists lost their lives on the Greek coast.
