ERDOĞAN:"Greece should stop violating the rights of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority"

In his speech at the UN General Assembly, Erdoğan called on Greece to end the unfair policies applied to the Western Thrace Turkish Minority.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called for an end to discriminatory and repressive policies that violate Greece's legal obligations towards the Turkish Minority.
Addressing the participants at the 77th general assembly meetings of the United Nations (UN), President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, addressing the developments in the Aegean and the Mediterranean and the latest developments between Greece, made a call to the whole world for the “Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus” (TRNC).
"We invite the international community to end the persecution of the Turkish Cypriots and to officially recognize the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus as soon as possible," Erdogan said.
In addition, President Erdoğan drew attention to the problems experienced by the Western Thrace Turkish Minority and said: “Greece still follows discriminatory and oppressive policies against the Muslim Turkish Minority, which violate their legal obligations.
Our hope is that Greece puts an end to all these problematic activities. It is to stop turning their backs on the inhuman and unlawful practices of international organizations, especially the European Union.”
