Two more forensic experts employed
The Ministry of Justice announced that two more forensic experts have been recruited to work in the Thrace Region of East Macedonia. The decision was published in the official gazette.
According to the news in Kavalanews, Kavala ND deputy Yaannis Pashalidis stated that two more experts are employed to the staff of only one forensic medicine specialist working in a total of 5 provinces.
Pashalidis said in his statement: “Only one forensic specialist was working in East Macedonia and Thrace Province, which consists of 5 provinces until yesterday.
As you know, it was not always possible for a person to catch up with 5 provinces. Naturally, there were major disruptions in the service.
I have been following the issue closely for a long time. I had an individual meeting with Minister Tsiaras and conveyed our request. Thankfully, our minister answered positively to our request. The staff of two forensic experts was published in the official gazette.
The process of recruiting two experts has now begun. They will start work soon.”
